Varudu re-recording pegged at Rs.86 lakhs
Allu Arjun’s latest film ‘Varudu’ will be the stylish star’s first release in 2010. Directed by Gunasekhar, the film has been produced by DVV Danayya on ‘Universal Media Banner’. The audio of the film was launched on March 7th in Ramanaidu Studios. Except for one song the entire film’s shooting has been completed. Recently, Allu Arjun had injured himself while shooting for a song and sources say that he’s determined to shoot for the remaining song so thatthe film can release on schedule. Currently, the re-recording of this film is going on in Mani Sharma’s own studio, ‘Mahati Studios’ in Chennai. The re-recording has been going on for the past 36 days and the entire work is expected to be completed in another 9 days. The re-recording for ‘Varudu’ is reportedly going to cost Rs.86 Lakhs. Gunasekhar and Mani Sharma seem to be taking extra care to get the music and re-recording ofthis film right, which are also being touted as the major highlight in the film. Apparently, the film will feature a 13 minute wedding song! Bhanu Mehra is making her debut as an actress in this film . Tamil actor, Arya who had recently acted in Bala’s National Award Winning film ‘Naan Kadavul’ (Nene Devudini), has been roped in as the villain inthis film. The film is gearing for its release on March 26th.
