Magadheera 9 days 28 Cr Share All Over

Magadheera to break BO record despite protests
TOLLYWOOD film-maker Allu Arvind’s blockbuster Magadheera (macho man) will garner revenues of Rs 40 crore despite a storm of protests by lawyers over a song-and-dance sequence that threatens to damage the image of their fraternity.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja plays the lead role in the film, which has been made with a budget of Rs 45-crore. Revenues from the film may even exceed the record set by Pokiri, according to Andhra Pradesh Film Producers Council president Tammareddy Bharadwaja. “Chiranjeevi’s guest appearance in the movie, his political foray a year ago and Andhra fans waiting to see him on screen could significantly contribute to the success of the movie,” Bharadwaja said.

The movie’s production house, Geeta Arts, claimed that revenues, including those from abroad, topped a record Rs 28 crore in the first week. “It had the highest budget and is most likely to break collection records. Controversies will only help viewership,” said a source from Geeta Arts.

Tamil Magadheera in September

Magadheera is stupendous hit in Telugu. Producer Allu Arvind and director SS Rajamouli are busy in dubbing the film in Tamil. The Tamil version of the film will hit the screens in the month of September. Allu Arvind is very much confident about his Tamil Magadheera to create wonders at the box office.Ramcharan who knows good Tamil will render his own voice for Tamil version of Magadheera.

If the film gives similar business like Telugu, Ramcharan's films would have huge business area for his future films too and all his films will be dubbed in Tamil in future too ( similar to hero Vishal), that will hike his remuneration to top in Tollywood.
