Love Aaj Kal grossed a huge 8.25 crore nett approx on day one on the strength of its multiplex business all over India. The collections on day one were below par in CP Berar, Bihar and slightly below the mark in Nizam ( due to release of Telugu Blockbuster Magdheera). All the rest of India has performed exceptionally well especially Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Mysore. The approx first day circuit breakdowns are as follows.
