MAGADHEERA AS MAAVEERAN IN TAMIL
Telugu film Magadheera, starring Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja, which has created a record of sorts by grossing Rs 25 crore in its first week of release, will soon be dubbed in Tamil as Maaveeran, which was also the title of a popular yesteryear Rajinikanth film. Magadheera is a fantasy movie made at cost of Rs 39 crore, and the storyline talks of reincarnation and revenge. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film had Kajal Agarwal in the lead. Though there were many offers to remake the film in Tamil, the producers decided against it as they felt that recreating the grandeur and special effects would be an impossible task.
But the Telugu version will not be released as it is in Tamil, as they later came up with a different plan to dub the film in shoot certain scenes to get the local flavour in. For instance, the role of a Muslim emperor played by Srihari in the Telugu version will be reshot with a Tamil actor. Sources reveal that either Sarath Kumar or Arjun will be roped in for this role.
Also, a separate come dy track featuring Vadivelu will be canned.

Geeta Arts to tie up with Sun
Sun Pictures is a Tamil film production and distribution company from the Sun TV Network. We heard that Geetha Arts is planning to tie up with Sun Pictures for Tamil Magadheera. Currently the plan is to make minor changes for Tamil nativity. Tying up with Sun Pictures helps Geetha arts to hype the movie in Tamil and get huge openings. A successful launch would give Ram Charan a foot hold in Tamil Industry which has been eluding most Telugu heroes. If Magadheera succeeds this could be a rare occasion where a Telugu Film dubbed in Tamil would be doing good business instead of vice versa.
Sun Pictures is the biggest production house in Tamil Nadu and has the largest distribution network. Being part of Sun TV Network they also have the most popular Tamil channel in their fold. Sun pictures is also producing Rajni’s Robo which is expected to cost 140 crores by the time it completes making it the costliest Indian film.

Tamil Magadheera in September
Magadheera is stupendous hit in Telugu. Producer Allu Arvind and director SS Rajamouli are busy in dubbing the film in Tamil. The Tamil version of the film will hit the screens in the month of September. Allu Arvind is very much confident about his Tamil Magadheera to create wonders at the box office.Ramcharan who knows good Tamil will render his own voice for Tamil version of Magadheera.
If the film gives similar business like Telugu, Ramcharan's films would have huge business area for his future films too and all his films will be dubbed in Tamil in future too ( similar to hero Vishal), that will hike his remuneration to top in Tollywood.
