AP State government appointed a 6 member committee to probe into the activities and health measures at Chiranjeevi Blood Bank after few allegations were made by Dr.Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha, in august. Allu Aravind himself called upon government to probe into their Blood Bank’s affairs. The committee submitted its report to health ministry two days back and Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSacs) project director R.V. Chandravardhan , who headed the committee gave clean chit to Chiranjeevi Blood Bank. He said that APSacs is planning to clamp down on the functioning of private blood banks and to strengthen the government-run blood banks in the state.
